Sophie travelled the world on one side, Gérald on the other. In the 1980s, their travels eventually brought them together. Inspired by the beauties that amazed them with their adventures, they combine to share them by creating jewellery. Chorange was born in 1986.

For his debut, Chorange moved into a Parisian workshop and offered his first collections of costume jewelry made on site. Always in search of inspiration, Gérald leaves for a new trip to Radjasthan, more precisely to Jaipur in search of fine stones. He comes back with ideas full of head that lead Chorange in the creation of ethno-chic jewelry. This results in collections inspired by a blend of multiple ethnic influences inherited from travel, both sober and natural. We are in the early 2000s and this concept propels Chorange. Among the creators of costume jewelry recognized in France. The fancy earrings, necklaces and bracelets are adorned with fine coloured stones, associated with enamel and bohemian crystal. With this success came the move from Chorange to Cannes. And to preserve the production of high-quality costume jewellery, Chorange keeps its production in France in its workshop as well as with rigorously selected French artisans. Then, in its last years, motivated by the desire to always renew itself, the Chorange costume jewelry collections were oriented towards a more refined line by including also natural mother-of-pearl. This eternal renewal made Chorange a real reference among the creators of costume jewelry

For each collection, Sophie and Gérald imagine and design jewellery by drawing their inspiration from their many trips around the world. Adjustable bracelets, simply made of fine gold-plated or silver-925-plated metal, combining fine stones and natural mother-of-pearl.

Elastic bracelets carefully mix materials, gold or silver plated metal with fine stones such as onyx, mother-of-pearl or turquoise, lapis lazuli among others.

Earrings
